For the third time this year the Wahpeton Lady Huskies found themselves in a neck-and-neck game with the West Fargo Packers. Just like the first two meetings, Wahpeton came out on top, as the Huskies picked up a 56-51 win on their home court in the East Region Quarterfinals on Tuesday, Feb. 28.

The Wahpeton Lady Huskies had a 63-27 road win over Fargo South on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

They’ve had way too many of these. In a season loaded with barn burners, including a buzzer-beating loss in their last game, the Wahpeton Lady Huskies came out on top with a 60-59 home win over Fargo Davies on Tuesday, Feb. 14.

When the Wahpeton girls basketball team traveled to West Fargo Sheyenne on Tuesday, Jan. 3, Tylee Irwin was fouled in the final second and the clutch senior buried all three of her free throws to help the Huskies steal a 64-63 victory from the Mustangs.

This time it was Sheyenne stealing a win on the road, as Kierra Freih sank the game-winning layup right before the final buzzer sounded in a 75-73 victory. Sheyenne snapped Wahpeton’s nine-game winning streak.
